Discover the furniture we provided for Silva, Mayfair
On the historic and grandiose streets of Bruton Place sits Silva, an adventurous new venture from first-time restaurateur Daria Grebenyuk. Walk along the cobbled streets and you’ll find 2 warmly lit windows, a delicate awning terrace and an unassuming door leading into the quietly luxurious world of Silva.
The Project
Nestled in the heart of Mayfair, Silva offers more than just exquisite cuisine—it’s a carefully crafted day-to-night transitional atmosphere where gastronomic delights are seamlessly intertwined with impeccable design. Helmed by Head Chef Slawomir Sawicki, (formerly of the Michelin Starred Galvin La Chapelle, Eric Chavot, Arts Club, etc.) Silva serves all day dining celebrating Mediterranean-inspired cuisine made with fresh seasonal ingredients. Equally celebrated is Silva’s interior design, which subtly exudes timeless wealth and elegance while embracing contemporary trends. Designed by the award winning team at Atelier Wren, they have curated a delicate balance of space, light and colour, while highlighting detailed patterns and soft, round forms which tie the space together in an intricate bow.
The Interiors
As you step through Silva’s understated yet inviting entrance, you are greeted by a space that feels both luxurious and welcoming. The colour palette sets the tone: soft, muted hues of cream, taupe, and grey are punctuated by accents of deep emerald and warm gold. These colours are perfectly balanced to create a serene yet striking ambience, offering the ideal backdrop for both intimate dinners and lively celebrations.
The lighting plays a pivotal role in enhancing the restaurant’s atmosphere. A blend of soft overhead fixtures and artfully placed pendant lights bathes the space in a warm, flattering glow. Each table enjoys its own intimate pool of light, ensuring an air of privacy and comfort. Meanwhile, bespoke wall coving, frieze and panels are uplit to highlight their 3d details. Each unique panel has been handcrafted by artist Kate Churchwell to show the seasonal herbs, flowers and ingredients used in the dishes of Silva. The botanical panels add a layer of texture to the restaurant which might not be immediately obvious but once you step closer you’ll be amazed by the time, detail and love poured into every inch of this venue.
The Furniture
The furniture at Silva is a testament to the art of thoughtful design. Chairs and banquettes are upholstered in sumptuous fabrics—plush velvets and textured weaves—that invite diners to sink in and relax. The seating combines modern silhouettes with subtle nods to classic forms, featuring curved backs and slender, tapered legs that add a sense of lightness. We had the pleasure of providing chairs, stools and table tops & bases while working on this project.

The Seating
The Owen and Nova chairs have been designed to offer an elevated dining experience. Providing support and comfort through their ergonomic design and soft upholstery. Both chairs pull inspiration from Scandinavian design with their chamfered or tapered legs respectively, creating a visual lightness and appeal within the design. The Owen armchair consists of a rounded backrest to hug the body, a thick seat and 3 timber legs which create an interesting dynamic of balance. Meanwhile the Nova armchair is a more traditional frame that has been refined with a contemporary edge while every joint and corner has been smoothed out into one fluid frame.
The Tables
A collection of different tables have been used throughout the restaurant both adding variance between the dining rooms, PDR and bar and giving each space its own character. Beautiful Verde Antigua marble tables have been finished with a smooth pencil round top edge and a fluted timber detail on the underside, these fluted ridges continue into the bespoke Riflet table bases below in a continuation of form and material. This combination is a stunning balance of smooth and textured, mirroring the rest of Silva’s interior in a considered and intelligent way. Other tables include Fior DI Pesko Marble Tops with a solid Ash edge, Solid Ash tops with fluted edges and hardened glass tops. Another bespoke base was made for this project, the Pallo Base features a turned column of spheres to match the curved design features around the restaurant.
Tables are crafted from richly grained woods and adorned with brushed brass accents, exuding a sense of understated opulence. Their perfectly proportioned design ensures practicality without compromising on aesthetics, allowing guests to focus on the culinary delights before them.
Our close collaboration with Atelier Wren meant that we were on hand to support any furniture needs and changes as the project progressed, including adjustments to sizes, design and allowances for electrical features.
The Art
Adding to the charm of Silva is the curated selection of artwork and decorative elements that adorn the walls and shelves. Contemporary art pieces—abstract yet approachable—are carefully placed to enhance the space without overwhelming it. Sculptural vases and greenery introduce organic shapes and a touch of freshness, providing a pleasing contrast to the sleek lines of the furniture.
Silva restaurant is a masterclass in design, proving that dining is not just about food but about the entire sensory experience. Every detail, from the choice of materials to the arrangement of furniture, has been meticulously considered to ensure guests feel enveloped in luxury from the moment they arrive.
