Located next to the beautiful lake Geneva, Monsieur Ador is a sophisticated, James Bond inspired bistro offering guests a delicious evening of fine dining and double 007 cocktails.
The Project
Working closely with the design team at Julia Christ, we supplied a considered mix of bespoke loose and fixed furniture that perfectly complements its bold interiors. The cinematic atmosphere and attention to detail set the stage for a hospitality experience that feels both luxurious and welcoming.
For the restaurant floor and bar areas, we produced a collection of bespoke dining chairs, alongside our Grace Barstool and the Celine Side Chair. Upholstered in a carefully curated mix of patterned fabrics and premium leathers, the loose furniture strikes a balance between elegance and practicality.
Each piece was designed to withstand the demands of a busy restaurant while offering exceptional comfort and a refined aesthetic that enhances the venue’s design scheme. The result is a rich and tactile seating collection that pairs contemporary comfort with timeless glamour — an ideal match for the venue’s sleek, Bond-inspired interiors.

At the heart of the bar, our Grace Barstools sit proudly against a glitzy gold counter finished with scalloped tile detailing. The barstools feature subtle gold accents that perfectly echo the shimmering backdrop, while their rich burgundy leather seats and floral-patterned backs provide a striking yet complementary contrast. This considered pairing of materials ensures that the seating not only enhances the bar’s opulent look but also provides lasting comfort for guests.
We also manufactured and installed four bespoke banquettes for the restaurant. Three of these feature elegant vertical fluting with an ash plinth, offering a refined aesthetic that balances formality with warmth.
The fourth banquette makes a bold statement with its brass footrail and paneled detailing, designed to showcase the beautiful Kvadrat Drop fabric. This piece adds an extra layer of sophistication, echoing the venue’s cinematic theme while ensuring durability and comfort for everyday hospitality use.
Every element of the furniture package was tailored to complement Monsieur Ador’s bold interior concept, reinforcing the restaurant’s atmosphere of understated glamour. The use of bespoke detailing, high-performance upholstery and robust construction ensures that the furniture not only looks striking, but also meets the practical requirements of a thriving hospitality venue.
