Discover the furniture we provided for Mildred’s Soho,  one of the capital’s most iconic plant-based restaurants. In 2024, the flagship site unveiled a bold new interior, designed by the talented team at Studio Arin. The redesign brings a vibrant, eclectic charm to the space while preserving the welcoming atmosphere that Mildreds is known for.

The Project

We were delighted to collaborate on this project by supplying a curated selection of hospitality contract furniture that combines style, function, and long-lasting quality.

As a specialist in furniture for hospitality interiors, Kirkdale Studios worked closely with the design team to ensure that every piece supplied complemented the richly layered scheme. The new interior is a feast for the senses—think saturated colour palettes, playful textures, and a mix of materials that reflect Soho’s dynamic cultural landscape. From patterned textiles and tactile surfaces to statement lighting and bold artwork, the redesign creates an energetic yet relaxed environment perfect for modern dining.

The Furniture

We supplied a range of commercial-grade furniture to help bring this vision to life. Highlights include our classic bentwood chairs, which add a touch of European café heritage to the lively space. Their sculptural curves and natural wood finish bring warmth and elegance, making them a perfect fit for busy restaurant interiors with high turnover.

For the dining area, we provided a mix of stone and timber tables—durable, practical and beautifully tactile. These pieces bring a sense of natural grounding to the design, offering both visual interest and robust performance essential in high-traffic hospitality settings.

A standout feature is the inclusion of our Alina side chair, custom-upholstered in the luxurious Noblis Alhambra fabric. This chair marries minimalist form with plush comfort, while the rich, patterned textile introduces a layer of visual depth and refinement. It’s a perfect example of how upholstered dining chairs for restaurants can be both stylish and resilient in a commercial context.
