Feeding London Well: Our Latest Collaboration with Farmer J on Regent Street
We’re proud to be part of another exciting chapter in the Farmer J story, supplying furniture for their location at 319 Regent Street, marking our ongoing partnership as they continue expanding across London.
Farmer J's World
Known for serving food that’s “always local, sometimes seasonal, never boring,” Farmer J is the go-to lunch spot for city dwellers who crave healthy and delicious meals with a conscience.
This latest restaurant opened its doors at the intersection with Cavendish Place and there’re now 15 locations in the Farmer J family. With every new site, they reaffirm their mission: to bring honest, scratch-cooked food from local farmers straight to hungry Londoners. At the heart of it all is the famous Fieldtray: a build-your-own lunch where grains, mains, and sides come together in a nutritious, flavour-packed dish.
The Interiors
Step inside and you’re met with a space that’s as inviting as the food itself. A small outdoor seating area greets visitors near the entrance, perfect for sunny day lunches or quick coffee breaks. The interiors are warm and thoughtfully designed, with high ceilings, plenty of natural light, and an open-plan kitchen that puts the food front and centre. The green tones throughout mirror Farmer J’s brand ethos of freshness and vitality.
A standout feature is the Farmer’s Pantry at the entrance: a curated retail corner where visitors can browse seasonal goods, homeware, grains, spices, sauces, and even apparel. The indoor energy is boosted by a human chain at the counter, ensuring each customer is guided through their meal assembly with friendly efficiency. And for a caffeine boost, there’s a dedicated coffee counter serving ethically sourced, bold-roast beans.
The Furniture
To support this vibrant space, we supplied several furniture elements that complement the restaurant’s atmosphere and enhance the dining experience. Inside, we refreshed the back and seat cushions of the booths lining the window walls with a rich, dark green upholstery that adds depth and comfort. The indoor tables feature solid oak tops; warm, tactile, and full of character, while the outdoor seating area is finished with durable, laminated table tops perfect for London’s unpredictable weather.
Seating was a key element too. We chose the honey-stained Bette Side Chair and Barstool for the indoor space, a timeless piece that offers both support and style. Outside, diners will find the Greenish Grey Woody Side Chair, a sturdy yet elegant option that fits seamlessly with the rest of the design.
At Farmer J, eating well doesn’t just mean fresh ingredients. It’s also about the comfort and quality of the environment. That’s why we’re especially proud to contribute to a space where these values shine through.
