Discover the Mid-Century inspired furniture for Arcade Foodhall, in the recently renovated Battersea Power Station.
With seating for 500, 2 bars, 3 restaurants, and a private dining room. The main food hall offers 13 different cuisines from around the world. Options such as Cantonese comfort food from Sui Sui, tasty Thai Food from Phed Power, Indian fast food from Hero, and Nepali street food from Tipan, will leave you spoilt for choice
The Restaurants at Arcade Battersea
As if that wasn’t enough, there are a further 3 standalone restaurants to sample. Manna; a US-style smash burger and fried chicken joint, Solis; a new grilled chicken and steak brand by the pair behind TĀ TĀ Eatery Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, as well as BAO, the cult Taiwanese brand which is also offering a private karaoke room.
For your refreshments, Arcade battersea houses two bars, Tap Room and ABC Bar. Tap Room will showcase a wall of 32 taps, serving cocktails using locally sourced ingredients and a host of beers from international and South London breweries. ABC Bar, inspired by classic cocktail culture, will offer a concise menu of the world’s most famous cocktails. The excellent order-to-table system also allows diners to sample the world of cuisines without ever leaving the comfort of their seats.

The Arcade Battersea Power Station Project
The lead designer and CO- Founder Lionel Real De Azua explains that the concept behind Arcade Battersea was to imagine that , Arcade had uncovered the Battersea Power Station staff canteen in between both turbine halls A and B. Turbine hall A was built in the 1930s and Turbine Hall B in the 1960s so we see this space as a segue of sorts drawing inspiration from real Art Deco (1930s) and Mid-Century (1960s) motifs from power stations and food halls in the US and UK.
Sustainability
Sustainability was also taken into account. The timber flooring throughout is made of reused oak boards from supplier Broadleaf, while the tiling is sourced by Architile, ensuring it uses approximately 60 per cent recycled materials.
Arcade Battersea: where world food meets 20th century design influences
Our team collaborated with Red Deer to supply loose and fixed furniture, inspired by a mix of Art Deco and Mid-Century design. In all we supplied over 950 different items of furniture sourced from all over the UK and EU. Among the features are some bespoke fixed seating, designed by our in-house product team, in collaboration with Lionel and produced in the UK. The end result was a wonderfully executed bespoke modular sofa that can be easily re-positioned to suit all types of events and layouts.
